Virginia Highlands Community College is hosting a series of free workshops to assist college-bound students and their parents in filing the 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The workshops are open to all community members and no registration is required.
The workshops will provide a comprehensive overview of the process and free one-on-one assistance to those who bring their tax returns. Participants who plan to enroll in Summer 2018, Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 should use their 2016 tax returns and complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA.
Each session will be held in Room 130 of the Instruction and Student Center (ISC-130) on the VHCC Campus. Similar information will be presented at each session, so participants are invited to choose the one most convenient.
Sessions will be held:
- Tuesday, February 20 at 6 p.m.
- Thursday, March 29 at 6 p.m.
For additional information about the workshops or general questions about FAFSA, please call the VHCC Financial Aid Office at (276) 739-2411.
