A series of five-week summer classes will begin Thursday, July 5, at Virginia Highlands Community College and financial aid is still available for those who qualify.
New students are encouraged to begin the admission process by completing the online application available at www.vhcc.edu/apply
and then visiting the Campus Connection Center located in the Instruction and Student Center for registration assistance.. The College will be closed Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day, but is otherwise open each day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is also under way for Fall Semester, which begins Aug. 22.
VHCC offers both Career & Technical Programs that prepare graduates for immediate entry into the workplace and two-year Transfer Programs that include the general education courses needed to complete the first half of a bachelor’s degree. Agreements also are in place that guarantee qualified VHCC graduates admission to Virginia Tech, the University of Virginia, Radford University, Old Dominion University, and many other top-ranked colleges and universities throughout Virginia.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be accessed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
