Bill Brooks

Education:

Bill earned an Associate of Arts & Sciences Degree in Business Administration from VHCC in 1981 and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Emory & Henry College.

Career:

He enjoyed a 33-year career with IBM in offices located in Kingsport, Atlanta, Memphis and Nashville. He held various jobs within the company before being named Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Region.He retired from that position last year.

Personal Life:

Bill lives in Nashville with wife, Dana, who was his high school sweetheart and classmate at VHCC. They have two grown children, Blake and Carmen, who also live in Nashville. Within his community, Bill has been active in youth sports, including both basketball and baseball, and once led his baseball team to a USSSA world championship. He has also volunteered his time with the United Way and American Cancer Society, held leadership roles within his church, and served as a board member for a community agency that provides services for adoptive and foster care families.
