(276) 628-5005.  Curatorial Internship - William King Regional Arts Center is seeking a qualified candidate for its summer 2007 Curatorial Internship. The selected intern will assist the Curator of Fine Art and the Curator of Decorative & Folk Art with the research, registration, installation, and educational programs for at least two exhibitions. The individual will also assist with the care and management of the Arts Center’s permanent collection. Additional duties may be assigned as needed in the educational, development, marketing, and publications departments. The successful candidate will be required to work 22-30 hours per week for a period of 10 weeks over the summer.   A total stipend of $1,000 will be paid in bi-weekly installments. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Interest in art, education, history, and/or museums.  Strong writing, research and communications skills.  Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office computer programs, including Excel and Word.  Ability to work independently and on detailed tasks.
