What does CBI offer?
... from employee
assessment and training ... to starting your own
business, we are The Answer To Your Training Needs.
Workforce Skills Assessment
Because employees skills are
different, the CBI encourages the assessment of current skills
before training begins.

|
WorkKeys(r)
|
 |
Assessments performed by the CBI
provide a basis for the development of effective training
programs, reduce training repetition that creates negative
training experiences, and make the most efficient use of your
training time and budget.
Career Readiness Certificates
The
Career Readiness Certificate
(CRC), is a
portable credential designed to provide evidence that an
individual is ready for work with respect to fundamental standards
of workforce literacy. This credential is built upon three of the
ACT WorkKeys skill areas: Reading for Information, Applied
Mathematics and Locating Information.
Small Business Assistance

The
Small Business Development
Center is available to assist small and medium-sized businesses by
providing direct, in-depth counseling, and business-related
learning opportunities to existing businesses and potential
entrepreneurs.
Counseling is available to
develop a business plan, assess financial needs, conduct
financial analysis, develop production plans and controls,
evaluate business health, value the business, find sources of
funding, and prepare loan applications.
