VHCC is a great place to get a start on your college education if you are considering a career in law, foreign languages, psychology, journalism, teaching or other professional fields that require a four-year degree. The Liberal Arts, General Studies and Education programs combine the required courses for beginning students with electives that allow students to choose classes that interest them. And, once you earn an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree at VHCC, you will be ready to enter your junior year at a four-year institution.
