Federal - Work Study Program
Introduction
The Federal Work-Study Program is unique with respect to the purpose it
serves. The program offers students an opportunity to earn a portion of
their college cost. Students have an opportunity to integrate their
classroom education with actual work experience and hopefully develop
the skills and attitudes they will need to succeed in future employment
positions. As community college students, many are in college
specifically to prepare for the job market. Organized work-study
training can have a positive impact on their futures
