Procedures for Completing Time Cards
- All time cards must be filled out in ink.
- White-out on time cards will not be accepted. If an error is made, line
through mistake and initial.
- Enter only the last four digits of your social security number on
your time card. Do not use your SSN in its entirety.
- All time cards must be verified, signed (no initials), and dated by both the
student and the supervisor before payment will be made.
- All dates must be filled in - not just the hours.
- Time must be kept in tenths of hours. (See Conversion
Chart) Time cards not
shown in tenths will be returned to the supervisor for corrections. Work shown
in whole or .5 hours is preferred but not mandatory.
- Supervisors are responsible for turning time cards in by due date. Time
cards received after 12 p.m. on Friday following the due date will be held
until the next pay period resulting in a delay of payment.
- No student is allowed to work six (6) straight hours without taking a 30
minute lunch break. *
- No student will be permitted to work more than eight (8) hours a day or
forty (40) hours per week.*
