Getting Your PIN
What is PIN and what is it used for? In this broadcast basic information about the Personal Identification Number (PIN) is discussed. You don’t have to wait until you’re ready to apply for financial aid to get a PIN. You can apply for a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov

Financial Need and the EFC
Most financial aid programs are awarded based on financial need. The Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is a measure of your family’s financial strength and indicates how much of your and your family’s financial resources should be available to help pay for your education. This broadcast will cover basic information about the EFC and Financial Need.
