VHCC Home

Virginia Highlands Community College offers unique educational opportunities in Ornamental Horticulture.  Study turfgrass management, landscape design/construction/maintenance, nursery production and greenhouse management.  Over 20 different classes are offered, many of them eligible for transfer to four-year colleges/universities.  Class work is supplemented with hands-on laboratory experiences in campus gardens and in a state-of-the-art greenhouse.
