Virginia Highlands Community College offers quality courses, taught by knowledgeable and experienced faculty, at a fraction of the cost of four-year colleges and universities. Classes are offered A Term ( June 1 -July 1) B Term (July 6 - August 5) , Full Term (June 1- August 5) and during a two-week Intersession( May 17 -28). Final exams for each term are scheduled immediately after classes end. Each of the classes included here are offered in the evening or online via Blackboard. (Please note that some online courses may require a mandatory class meeting the first day of class).

To begin the enrollment process, please complete the online Application for Admission available at www.vhcc.edu/admissions If you do not have computer access or have questions, please contact the Admissions Office at (276) 739-2460 or (276) 739-2508. The Admissions Office is located in ISC-133. After completing the application and receiving an EMPLID, contact the Division of Workforce Training & Continuing education at (276) 739-2430 for enrollment assistance.

The Division of Workforce Training & Continuing Education will provide courses in the following topics for groups of 7 or more:

  • Topics in Psychology of Work & Communication (BUS 195)

Virginia Highlands Community College offers online and evening courses that provide the region’s teachers with opportunities to return to the classroom for recertification and professional growth.
