Artistic Director Cynthia Cole brought the 7 Sopranos together with a determination to form an ensemble that would shatter any stereotype that the soprano repertoire is “stuffy.” The 7 Sopranos, from the Washington, D.C., area, have individually been featured at venues around the world. They have combined forces (and egos) to present a unique, fun and enthralling kaleidoscope of arias and songs of soprano classics from all genres, including comedy and drama, secular and religious music.
