This 128-hour comprehensive training program covers the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical distribution and transmission lines and equipment. Training topics include safety, protective equipment, knot tying, basic work zone, grounding equipment, transformers, flagging, CPR/First Aid, and a 10-hour OSHA course. This program has been approved by the Workforce Investment Board and the Virginia Employment Commission for those who qualify for their tuition assistance.
