Purpose
Purpose is the promotion of scholarship, the development of leadership and service, and the cultivation of fellowship among students. Students must have a 3.5 GPA and have completed 12 credit hours of course work in a two-year program.

Activities
Literacy program, service projects, leadership development, recognition of scholastic achievement.

Meetings
Phi Theta Kappa meets one day each month 

Membership Requirements
Students must have a 3.5 GPA and have completed 12 credit hours of course work; will be invited to join and must pay national membership fees. Once a member must maintain a 3.25 GPA.
