Members of the community are invited to meet the three finalists for president of Virginia Highlands Community College.
Each candidate will make a presentation during their assigned day from 3-4 p.m. in the Keyser-Aday Theatre, Room 105, of the Learning Resources Center. Following a brief presentation, a question/answer session is scheduled.
Dr. Short is currently associate vice president for engagement at Virginia Tech, a position she has held since 2011. She holds a doctorate from Virginia Tech, a master’s degree from Shippensburg University and bachelor’s degree from the Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music.
Open Session video and survey will be made available on Friday, April 25 following the final candidate.
Dr. Fuller is currently vice president for academic and student services at Southwest Virginia Community College in Richlands. She holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Virginia Tech, a bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University and an associate degree from Southwest Virginia Community College.
Dr. Hogan is associate vice president for student affairs at Ivy Tech Community College, and served as chancellor and chief executive officer for the Columbus Region of Ivy Tech for more than a decade, beginning in 2003. He holds a doctorate from Indiana State University and master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Western Kentucky University.
