A variety of plants included on NASA’s list of top air-filtering houseplants will be available during the “Plants that Clean” winter sale at Virginia Highlands Community College. The sale will be held Monday through Saturday, Dec. 7 -16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Treadwell-Jones Greenhouse at VHCC. Plants also may be purchased Dec. 13-16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Collins Student Center and, weather permitting, on Saturdays at the Abingdon Farmers Market.
