Veterans Day is Monday November 11, 2013
The VHCC Student Veterans Association is planning a Veterans Day display on the large window panes behind the piano in the Wolves’ Den, and would like for you to share the stories of the great heroes that are remembered every Veteran’s Day in your heart. If you’ve got a story to tell, please share it with all of us. Help us fill all four windows, both sides!
We’ve put together a basic outline to help you get started. However, you do not have to use the starter sheet, or share a photo; just SHARE!
Three easy ways to share your veteran's story:
Submit a photograph:
If you would like to include a photograph please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a Subject line with the Veterans Name exactly as it is spelled in the story. We will match the subject line to the Veteran's name submitted online or hard copy at the Veterans Office.
If you do not have a photo, we will insert the appropriate Military Seal in place of a photo.
We are hoping that all the photos can be the Veterans latest military photo, but any picture can be used in its place, and if neither of these options exists, please share what you do have.
If you have multiple Veterans you remember, please share all your stories.

Please share a story with those that have never had the privilege of knowing a Veteran in person. The VHCC Veteran's Memorial Wall will be on display Monday, November 4 until Thursday, November 14.
Additionally, please join us in thanking the Student Government Association for their diligent work in SGA OPERATION: SHOEBOX! They will be putting these Holiday Care Packages together for the troops overseas at the tree lighting ceremony Tuesday, November 12th. There are donation bins located in the ISC Wolves’ Den and there is still time to pitch in. Visit www.vhcc.edu/sga for additional details.
