The 2009 Career Connection will be held October 28, 2009, 1:00PM - 5:00PM at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, Abingdon, VA The 2009 Community College Career Connection of SW VA offers students an excellent opportunity to meet potential employers and apply for full-time or part-time jobs as well as co-ops/internships.
Career Fairs offer students the ability to meet multiple employers in one location at one time. Students who take advantage of this opportunity increase their exposure and chances of finding employment. Attendees are strongly encouraged to come prepared with multiple copies of their resume, dress appropriately and research the registered companies beforehand.
