*       Plan and design and implement course work for Programming in C++.  Duties included creating a syllabus, designing student projects, developing student testing, and training students in the use of collaborative methods.  A high degree of independent work was required along with the ability to be extremely organized.  Students implemented programs using this object-oriented approach.

*       Plan, design and implement course work for CSCI1710 Web Design (1 section) and CSCI1720 Advanced Web Design (3 sections). Duties included creating a syllabus, designing student projects, developing student testing, and training students in the use of collaborative methods.  A high degree of independent work was required along with the ability to be extremely organized.  Students implemented both client-side and server-side scripts such as JavaScript, VBScript, ASP pages, Perl and Java.  Other responsibilities included mentoring two part-time adjunct faculty in coordinating coursework for CSCI1710 Web Design.  I created a summer computer information technology camp for 7th and 8th grade female students to be held at ETSU in Summer 2000.

*       Plan and design course syllabus for Systems Analysis and Design.  This software engineering course required students to develop a total system concept.  Emphasis was placed on project planning, requirements analysis, system design, program design, program implementation, program testing, system testing, system delivery, maintenance, documentation, and examining the development process.  Duties included development of an on-line web site for course information and selection and installation of CASE tools such as ForeHelp VB, Rational Rose, COSMOS, and Microsoft Project to support course activities.

*       Plan, design and implement course work for CSCI 3200 Database Management Systems (1 section), CSCI 1710 Web Design (2 sections), and CSCI 1100 Using Information Technology (2 sections).  Duties included creating a syllabus, designing student projects, developing student testing, and training students in the use of collaborative methods. Instructed students on the use of Microsoft Access, Oracle SQL 3.3, Express, Express2 database software.  Instructed students in Web Design on the use of Microsoft FrontPage 98 and other HTML editors and introduced client-side scripting.  Instructed students in UIT on the use of Internet browsers, e-mail, word processing software, library resource software, search engines, and creation of business oriented documents.
