More about e-mail

E-mail will be used as the main communication tool for this class, thus before a student can enroll in MUS 121 via the Web, the student must have an e-mail account.  VHCC offers free e-mail service to all students.  However, there are alternatives to VHCC's e-mail service, such as:

• Internet Service Provider (ISP) e-mail account:  An e-mail account is given when you open an Internet account with a local ISP such as Net Access of Abingdon or MountaiNet of Gate City.
• Web-based e-mail accounts.  There are several options for web-based e-mail accounts, or e-mail accounts that are accessed via the World Wide Web.   If you would like to set up a free Web-based e-mail account there are several providers.  www.hotmail.com or www.yahoo.com are two of the more popular.
