Congratulations Class Of 2020!

On Friday, May 15th at 12 pm, you should have received a special invitation from us – via your VHCC email, your personal email and your mobile phone (You received the information via your mobile phone and your personal email if we had the information listed within our system.). The message contained a unique social media experience for you to “shout to the world” the BIG news that you’re graduating!

If you did not receive the special communication, please email and request a “special link to the graduation celebration mobile experience.”

Pick up your cap, gown, cords & diploma cover! –  Friday, May 29  |  3 pm to 6 pm
Graduation is not complete without photo opportunities with your cap & gown! Make plans to cruise through campus Friday, May 29 between 3 pm and 6 pm to pick up your cap, gown, cords & diploma cover!
Your VHCC family of faculty and staff will be lined up and ready to cheer you on in a very unique and fun cruise-through celebration. We’ll hoot, holler and wave as we hand out your regalia!
Want to decorate your vehicle? Sure! Go right ahead!

Please note you need to reserve your cap & gown by May 28 at 8 am. We will then have everything ready for you on May 29 for the cruise-through! The cap, gown and cords are provided at no cost.

Alternative Cap & Gown Pick Up Date - June 2
Graduates who were unable to attend the Cap & Gown Cruise-Through, may pick up regalia Tuesday, June 2, 2020, between 9 am and 6 pm. College representatives will be located outside the ADMIN building located on the VHCC campus — observing social distancing and providing curbside service when necessary. (If you need curbside service due to health or mobility concerns, please pull directly in front of the admin building and lightly tap your horn. A college representative will walk to your vehicle to assist you.)

Graduates unable to make this date may send a designated friend or family member to pick up the regalia in their place.

Submit Your Virtual Graduation Ceremony Information – Friday, June 5

Within the virtual graduation ceremony, you'll have a personal section that will display specific information about your academic accomplishments (including honors). Additionally, your section will have either a video clip from your fun social media filter OR a pic of you in your cap & gown. 

From a mobile device, tap to submit your details and reserve your spot! The deadline for submission is Friday, June 5.

Virtual Graduation Ceremony – Sunday, June 21 at 3 pm

We invite you to join us Sunday, June 21 at 3 pm for our Class of 2020 virtual graduation ceremony broadcast LIVE on both YouTube and Facebook LIVE – complete with speakers, music, and your own special section featuring the presentation of your academic details and the announcement of your name.

We’re so very proud of all that you’ve accomplished – and how well you’ve adapted to the last semester of this academic year as it was turned on its head by an event none of us could have ever imagined. We hope the events we have planned to celebrate YOU will be fun, and will help you and your families create special and unique memories of this time in your life.
