While the VHCC Catalog and Student Handbook will detail all course options for a chosen degree, for convenience, we’ve created a recommended program pathway to guide students toward degree completion.
Why choose VHCC?
Do I ever have to come to campus? This is a fully online degree with 100% of the coursework completed virtually. The only exception would be any type of proctored exam. In this instance, you could make arrangements to complete the proctored assignment at the VHCC Testing Center or at another professor-approved location.
How long will it take to complete the degree? Our 100%-online business administration degree is designed for the working professional and may be completed in as little as 14 months! (We have program pathways for 14-month FAST TRACK and 24-month degree completion options!)
What about classes that require labs? Are the labs online?Yes! Virtual biology courses that include an online lab experience, are indicated in both the 14-month and 24-month program pathways for the online associate of business administration degree.
What about testing? You may encounter a course that requires a proctored assignment. For example, the final exam may be proctored. If this is the case, you could make arrangements to complete the proctored assignment at the VHCC Testing Center or at another professor-approved location.
What is the cost? With in-state tuition (Virginia residents and those living within a 30-mile radius of campus) at $157 per credit hour, the cost for the 61-credit degree will be $9,577, before financial aid or scholarship funds. Comparatively, you will save $10K to $50K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC and completing the first two years of your four-year degree plan.
Will I be able to complete the physical education requirement online?Yes! PED 101 is designed as a virtual physical education elective. (PED 101 will be available by Spring 2020.)
