Nurse Ready

With our Nurse Ready program, you’ll have a personal coach to guide you every step of the way!

At VHCC, we understand that sometimes the hardest part is simply getting started. That’s why we’ve created the Nurse Ready program! Your Nurse Ready coach will work with you, one-on-one, helping you do everything necessary to prepare for admission to one of our nursing programs – and achieve your long-term goal of becoming and LPN or an RN.

Your coach will help you:

  • apply for admission to Virginia Highlands.
  • Apply for financial aid that might be available.
  • Develop a strategy to complete the pre-requisite courses.
  • Prepare for TEAS testing.
  • Guide you through the final steps of the LPN or RN application process.

**Graduation from VHCC programs does not guarantee earning a license as an RN or LPN; nor certification as a CNA. Graduates must meet all requirements of the licensing/credentialing agency for their state of residence.

 Why choose VHCC?
