College Fairs & Tours Information
Each semester and during Summer Academy, Upward Bound students have the opportunity to visit college campuses. This is great way for students to begin to narrow down what types of colleges feel like a right fit for them, as well to gain a comfort level with being on a college campus. Our visits usually include a campus tour, lunch in the campus dining facilities, meetings with admissions counselors, and meetings with specific programs of interest.

Each September, VACRAO (Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers) hosts college fairs at the Higher Education Center in Abingdon, VA and at Oak Point Elementary School in Marion, VA.
