This is a review course which the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires under Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act for persons who work with regulated refrigerants. All individuals who maintain, service, repair or dispose of appliances that contain regulated refrigerants must be certified in refrigerant handling techniques. The review course is intended to help the student prepare for the EPA 608 Technician Certification Examination.
Program Length: One day – 8 am to 3 pm (review and test)
Career Opportunities: EPA 608 Certification is required for anyone handling regulated refrigerant.
