Advising Pathway Class Schedule

This advising pathway allows a student to earn an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Health Sciences at VHCC, followed by online coursework at Longwood University. This prepares the student for the SLP-A exam through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The program at VHCC is a hybrid program with a mix of online and in-person classes.

  • PSCD 497: Roles, Responsibilities, & Competencies of the SLPA (2 credits)
  • Coordinated Internship of 100 clinical hours supervised through VHCC Workforce Development as continuing education
