At this workshop, participants will take a brief tour through the William King Museum of Art exhibit, Korshak Collection: Illustrations of Imaginative Literature to explore a range of illustrations and get a bit of inspiration. After the tour, we'll head to the classroom to transform our sketches into drypoint plates. The drypoint process involves using a metal stylus to scratch your drawing on the surface of a sheet plexiglass. From there, ink is applied and impressions are obtained on paper. Print your art to share with the whole group or take all your prints home. Must love drawing! Printmaking experience optional!
This event is presented in partnership with the Art Lab at William King Museum of Art. Space is limited to 15 participants. RSVP to mporterfield@vhcc.edu to reserve your spot!
This event is one of our Fall 2026 Arts Array events.
