Seven Week One Term (7W1)

Seven Week Two Term (7W2)

Classes that meet outside of these dates are considered dynamically dated classes. These will have different begin and end dates, payment due dates, dates for refund and withdrawal without academic penalty.

*1. Last Day to Pay Tuition: If you do not have pending financial aid or assistance through a third party, please ensure your outstanding balance is paid. Alternatively, you can contact the Business Department at 276-739-2501 to set up a payment plan.

*2. Last Day to Drop a Class and Receive a Refund (15%): If you have pending financial aid and wish to avoid affecting your academic standing, please withdraw by this date. You will not receive a grade of W (Withdrawn) or F (Fail).

*3. Last Day to Withdraw Without Academic Penalty (60%): This is the final day to drop a class and receive a grade of W, which will count against your academic progress. If you are on an Academic Progress Plan (APP), withdrawing may result in the loss of your financial aid. If you are on an appeal, be cautious about receiving a W, as it could lead to an APP. Failing an APP will result in the loss of financial aid.

Withdrawing after this date will result in a grade of F, which will negatively impact your GPA and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).

To continue receiving financial aid, students must complete a Satisfactory Academic Progress form.
