Education
After graduating from VHCC with an Associate of Arts & Sciences Degree in Business Administration in 2001,, Jeremy earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Communications from Emory & Henry College. In 2006, he became PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certified.
Career
Jeremy began his career as a recruiter for EMW in Alexandria, Va., and was responsible for staffing Department of Defense contracts on military bases in Iraq, Afghanistan, Oman and Bosnia. He joined Northrup Grumman 11 years ago as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner. In that role, he assembled a 250-member team that provides cyber security support to the Department of Homeland Security and helped with the start up of the Lebanon, Va., facility. He currently supports Northrup Grumman’s Aerospace Sector and other manufacturing efforts in Palmdale, CA., and Edwards Air Force Base. He has filled more than 1,000 jobs in his career.
Awards & Personal Life
Jeremy and his wife, Nicki, are proud parents to Gwyneth, 12, and Luke, 11. He is in his second season as President of the Abingdon Youth Football League and is a board member for Abingdon Little League Baseball. Additionally, he has coached girls softball and youth football for the past four years.
