Join us for an afternoon of Appalachian folklore! Explore the eerie world of ghosts, cryptids, and haunted legends at our pop-up table in the Collins Student Center, hosted by the Library and the MARC Writing Center. Learn how folklore connects to culture, history, and even evaluating sources. From 2pm-3pm, join the hands-on art hour sponsored by PTK! You can paint ghosts, cryptids, and more into old art prints for a creative (and spooky!) take-home piece. No art experience is required—ghosts are the easiest thing to paint! Come de-stress, have fun, and walk away with your very own unique, upcycled piece of DIY Halloween decor.
