Nominations are now being accepted for the 2020 Alumni Awards. The VHCC Educational Foundation and Alumni Association would like to recognize people who have excelled in the following two categories. Please consider nominating someone who meets the criteria.
The Virginia Highlands Community College Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor bestowed by the VHCC Educational Foundation and Alumni Association. To be eligible for this prestigious award, nominees must have earned 24 semester credits (or 36 quarter credits) from VHCC. Winners will be selected based upon notable achievement in his/her career field, outstanding service to the community and/or VHCC, and inspirational impact.
Please use this online to tell us why your nominee deserves this award. The information you provide will be the only information considered in making selections, so please answer all questions and address all criteria.
Campus clubs, departments, and individuals are encouraged to submit nominations.
The deadline for nominations will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Please be thorough, as the VHCC Educational Foundation and Alumni Association will be making the selections based on the information provided.
